How to request deletion

In the app: open Profile, then Account Settings, then "Delete my account". This sends an account deletion request directly from your signed-in account.

By email: send a request to [email protected] from the Google account email you use with KlioAI.

• Use the subject line: Account deletion request
• Include the email address used to sign in to KlioAI
• Tell us if you want the whole account deleted or only specific data

We may ask for a short confirmation step to make sure the request comes from the account owner.

Data deleted after account deletion

When your account is deleted, KlioAI deletes or anonymizes data connected to your app account, including:

• account profile data and Google sign-in email
• saved words, saved sentences, practice history, XP, streaks, and progress
• AI practice records connected to your account where deletion is technically possible
• notification tokens and device records used for push notifications
• local subscription entitlement records stored by KlioAI

Data that may be retained

Some limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, tax/payment reconciliation, or backup integrity.

Google Play purchase history and active subscriptions are managed by Google. If you have an active subscription, cancel it from Google Play subscriptions as well. Deleting your KlioAI account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.

Processing time

Account deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days. Backup copies and technical logs may take longer to expire, usually up to 90 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law or security obligations.
